Hyderabad, October 2025:
In a world where technology and creativity define the Gen-Z era, a group of young students from a small village in Kamareddy district has proven that passion and purpose can outshine any limitation. These bright young minds from ZP High School, Dharmaraopet, have become symbols of inspiration across Telangana and beyond — earning the Manak Veer Award 2025 from the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS).
BIS, the National Standards Body of India, has been nurturing young minds through its flagship initiative — the Standards Clubs — established in schools and colleges across the nation. These clubs aim to build a “quality-conscious generation” by engaging students in activities like quizzes, industry visits, and awareness campaigns. Today, over 11,000 such clubs are actively functioning across India.
🏅 From Rural Classrooms to National Recognition
During the Manak Mahotsava – World Standards Day 2025 Celebrations held in Hyderabad, where Shri N. Uttam Kumar Reddy, Hon’ble Minister for Irrigation & CAD, Civil Supplies & Food, graced the event as Chief Guest, these eight students became the talk of the event — impressing everyone with their creativity, awareness, and commitment to promoting quality.
The proud recipients of the Manak Veer Award 2025 are: K. Navadeep, Class 10, K. Bhanu Prasad, Class 10, G. Raghuvaran, Class 10, D. Navadeep, Class 7, M. Bharath, Class 10, Ch. Rakesh, Class 10, Sk. Ayas, Class 9

Coming from a humble rural background, these students have broken barriers by using their limited resources to create innovative awareness videos about Indian Standards, the BIS CARE App, and the importance of quality in everyday life. Their work has reached thousands through social media, inspiring students nationwide.
Their mentor, Sri Krishnakar Rao, a dedicated science teacher at ZPHS Dharmaraopet, has been the guiding force behind their success. His enthusiasm and constant encouragement helped these students transform ideas into impactful content — making them true “ambassadors of quality.”

👩🏫 Mentors Who Light the Path
The event also recognized the outstanding contribution of mentors who have been instrumental in leading the Standards Clubs movement with passion and commitment. The Best Mentor Awards 2025 were presented to:
- Smt. Bandari Rajitha, PM Shri ZPHS Dubbaka

- Smt. G. Prasanna Kumari, TGMS Maheshwaram
